What exactly is a middle bet?
A middle occurs when two sportsbooks post different lines on the same game, creating a window where both bets win if the result lands inside. For example, betting Lakers -4.5 at DraftKings and Nuggets +6.5 at FanDuel — if the Lakers win by exactly 5 or 6, both legs cash. Worst case, you lose a small amount on the juice.
Is middle betting legal?
